Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art, combined with dance, music and singing. It is a type of self-defense and covered combat, which was developed in Brazil by African slaves whose ultimate goal was their liberation.

That is why it is also called the "dance of freedom". The game unfolds between two people (who take turns) in a "roda" circle, formed by the other Capoeira practitioners.

Attack and avoidance techniques (no physical contact, because hits are implied), kicks and stunts, always in the sound of Capoeira music, create a "dialogue" between the two players, sharpening the senses and harmoniously combining alertness, promptitude, and also ingenuity.

On Timetable Page you can see Capoeira classes that take place in our gym.
