Krav Maga is a broad and versatile self defense system that continues to evolve in order to deal with new situations that arise in modern life.

 

It teaches:

  • Prevention, escape and avoiding.

  • The use of all objects from daily life for defensive purposes.

  • Attacks and counterattacks.

  • Defense against unarmed attacks, including punches and kicks.

  • Defense against armed attacks and threats with knives and sharp objects, sticks, bats and other sharp objects and all kinds of firearms.

  • Release from all kinds of grabs and holds.

  • Control and disarmament.

  • Managing pushes and falls in all directions and angles.

At Krav Maga we train for all possible scenarios:

  • Attacks, counterattacks and defenses, which may be needed for all targets, distances, heights, angles, directions and all paces.

  • Attacks can be directed to all possible directions and places.

  • Attacks can be carried out by one or multiple attackers.

  • A reaction may need to be performed from any position and posture, while your movement is restricted or not, static or dynamic, grounded, or even while you are siting or reclining to a side position, or laying on your stomach or your back.

  • Incidents can happen anywhere, indoors or outdoors, during the day or night, on any ground, in cars or even in the water.
